Point 665oC; Working Temperature 1080oC; Suggested Melting
Temperature - charge at 1235oC, raise to 1135oC for 8 hours or until
bubbles are no longer larger than a pinhead, reduce to 1080-1120oC;
Coefficient of Expansion 96 (10-6K-1)

Highly
brilliant lead free "crystal" rounded nuggets - containing approx
3%
barium oxide to give weight and polishing properties. Made
specifically as a pre-melted glass for studios (not a waste stream).
Uses up to 30% less fuel than batch, 10% less than pellets, No fumes
and so you get 15 - 20% more finished glass out of a tonne than batch
or batch pellets.
(This
is not the same glass as the KGlass which is no longer made)

520oC; Softening Point 689oC; Working
Temperature 984oC; Suggested Melting Temperature - charge at 1280oC
until fully melted in, reduce to 1165oC until morning - can melt at
1165oC over 48 hours; Coefficient of Expansion 94.5 - 96 (10-6K-1);
we recommend not melting higher than 1280oC and for the flames not
to touch the surface.
