Kugler Colors             

 

We are proud to be the sole UK stockist of the world respected Kugler Colors and their range of Rods, Powders and Grits for glass handblowers.

We hold a large stock of items, place a replacement order weekly with the factory in Germany and try to despatch all orders received in the morning the same day  however please try to give us as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment. We only stock K4 & K5 sizes for regular customers of that size/colour.

WHAT ARE KUGLER COLORS

Over 160 different opaque and transparent concentrated colours for hotglass artists with new colours continuing to be developed.

Used by lead crystal glass and non-lead crystal glass studios, artists and teaching colleges.

The colours are overlayed at 800oC approx. on quality glass to create whatever your imagination and skill can achieve.

Coefficient of Expansion : 93+-2 x 10-7

Transforming Temperature 480- 520oC

Annealing Point 500oC

Rod Dimensions vary - Length approx 30 cm, Diameter approx 3 cm

The specified coefficient of thermal expansion of our products is a guideline value. It does not represent guaranteed characteristics and is consequently not part of a guarantee.

We therefore recommend testing suitability for the intended use. For technical reasons, the color pictures can only be used as an indication. On request, we would be glad to send you a few original color samples.

  If the number has an "A" after it the colour needs to strike to be achieved

Discounts available over 50 kg

 

 

We do not cut rods – we supply to the nearest full rod which can be anywhere between 450g and 750g  

 

All prices need VAT & Delivery to be added 

Minimum order is 500g of powder and grit or one full rod.

The larger the quantity of colours the less we charge for packing and delivery of the colours.

If you are ordering other items they will have delivery charged separately – in addition to any charge for weighing, packing and despatching the colours.
